Winners of the International Watercolor Competition in St. Petersburg

Winners of the International Watercolor Competition in St. Petersburg Our dear guests, the winners of the International Watercolor Competition, have finally arrived in St. Petersburg!

IWS and Nevskaya Palitra held a worldwide watercolor competition. Out of almost 2,000 works, 3 winners were selected, whose paintings are depicted on a limited series of watercolor sets. Igor Sava (Italy), Evgeniy Kisnichan (Moldova) and Anirban Jan (India) arrived in the northern capital. More than 1800 works were submitted to the competition organized by the International Watercolor Society (IWS) and the Nevskaya Palitra Plant.

The winners' watercolor works will decorate the sets of the exclusive export collection of watercolors “White Nights”.

In the museum oа Saint Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design passed three demonstration master classes. For Anirban Jan, a young watercolorist from India, this is the first demonstration in front of so many spectators. A responsible, exciting moment and, as a result, three wonderful watercolors from our masters.

Igor Sava, Evgeny Kisnichan and Anirban Dzhan went on an excursion to the Nevskaya Palitra plant. The most enjoyable part, according to the artists, was the watercolor workshop, they have never seen so much paint! The General Director of the Nevskaya Palitra plant, Efim Mikhailovich Zagorodnikov, presented the artists with gifts and letters of thanks.
