Nevskaya palitra Competition

This is an international competition for children aged 7 to 15 years.

The Nevskaya Palitra Artistic Paints Factory has been organizing and conducting the Nevskaya Palitra International Competition for Children and Youth Creativity since 2004.

This is an international project in which more than 1,000 creative children aged 7 to 15 years participate each year. Participants represent Austria, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Estonia.

The jury selects the winners in the age categories of 7-10 years and 11-15 years in the following nominations:

- watercolor
- gouache
- acrylic on paper
- acrylic on fabric
- use of batik technique

The main prize for the winners and their teachers is a trip to St. Petersburg, the historical homeland of the Factory, and an entertainment program including visits to the city's main museums, the suburbs of the Northern capital, and master classes by famous artists of St. Petersburg.

An exhibition of the best works over the years of the competition was held in the training rooms of the Youth Centre of the Hermitage, the Russian Museum and also in the Exhibition Centre of the Union of Artists.
