Texture Paste
The texture pastes of the Sonnet series are water-based. They form durable indelible relief sueface after drying. The primer can be painted over by acrylic, tempera, gouache and oil colours. Use the water-based texture paste to create volume for your paintings. The paste can also be diluted with water for different levels of roughness. Wait till the paste is completely dry before painting. Once dry, the paste is permanent and solid. Can be applied with different tools: a stiff-haired brush will create more light marks in the paint than a soft brush. A painting knife is very useful because it's easy to spread the paste out and to scratch patterns on it.
